I have been food obsessing. When there’s a chance, me and my friends would usually cook at home inspired by what we’ve had in some restaurant in the metro. It was a regular day of nothing to do so we decided to go the grocery. It was my friends treat. He picked up some ingredients so we can replicate the Kani salad we ate at some Japanese restaurant in the Fort.
Off we went home and start prepping up. I can’t believe that a taste like that is so siple to make. Partnered with fried fish, we tossed the crab sticks, ripe mangoes, cucumber and cabbage all together. I realized sesame oil is the distinct flavor in it so I opted to put as much together with the Japanese Mayo we are so obsessed at.
It was a delight. Nothing better than good food with close friends on a lazy day weekend.
