It was a weekend set to appreciate art. So off we went to Makati together with my partner and photographer friend to check out Art in the Park. I have been told to join in as an exhibitor, but I failed to register due to a very busy schedule. So this time I’ll be an audience.
It was jam-packed with art enthusiasts from all walks of life. I have seen some familiar faces and art works, mostly part of the art circle I belong with. It was a festivity celebrating Filipino Arts at its best.
What’s good in it was that people actually go there to buy art. From what I’ve heard, the concept is to sell art works not more than P30,000.00. Affordable art pieces from paintings to sculptures were scattered all over the place.
I regret that I was unable to join; but hopeful I can participate next year. Mostly, I was inspired to make art again. I lay low in making arts since I was too consumed with my bag business lately.
I went home full of innovative ideas. Something I am excited to execute when I join in the Art in the Park for 2015.
