People tend to regress when they experience a painful phase in their lives. It is a normal coping mechanism that a heart must undergo to get through the process of healing. Regression doesn’t necessarily have to be on your childhood. It’s unnecessary to go way back. When you lost someone, try to think of the time before that someone came to your life. You used to be in a state where you were happy at some point, satisfied and can survive life even without that someone – a comfort before creating a comfort zone with him. So never think that you cannot make it, for you lived most of your life without him anyway. Learn it, you’ll get used to it.
