Tillie Banes was waiting anxiously. They were both excited to go to an out of town trip. Everyone from their company will be there. I gave them privacy but I was observing. There’s something strange going on between them. I just observed. After the overnight trip, I was excited to see him. He went home with Tillie and she was still anxious to see me. I can feel her heart pumping loudly; she wasn’t even talking to me. I kept quiet. They were in a hurry, as if I wasn’t there. I wasn’t even recognized.
He went in to our room “What’s going on?” I asked, totally confused. He said nothing. “Where are you guys going? You just got home!” “To another trip...” he replied. I checked the camera he brought with him and checked the photos. There was this guy, who looked just like me but taller and has a better built. I was confused. They looked happy and strangely, I thought he’s more than an office mate to Vince. I just had a feeling, intuition maybe. With their body language in the photo, so much can be said.
Time passed, I don’t know how; but I can tell. He became colder until I finally found out the real deal with the guy. “We had sex, we’re enjoying each other’s company” he admitted. Tillie was still there, waiting for Vince to pack his things up for another out of town. There has not been a weekend when they didn’t go for an out of town with the guy. I was always left alone in the house. “Did he fuck you? Did you enjoy it?” I asked “Yes I did enjoy it and he fucked me bare, so what!?” I was shocked and shattered.
I opened my eyes and realized it was just a bad dream. I looked at him sleeping soundly. I tried to hug him but I felt angry. I can’t take it. I suddenly had a tear falling down my face. How strange? My heart was heavy. What could my subconscious be telling me? And how the hell did Tillie Banes got into my dream? She was not even a close friend. She was just an office acquaintance from our first job in a call centre company. I erased my paranoia and got back to sleep. Whatever that dream means, I have to forget it... it was nothing, it was just a dream.
